Is anyone interested in an online fitness coach? Hi, I'm Stephanie and I'm an Independent Beachbody Coach. My coaching all started one night when I saw an infomercial for a fitness DVD on TV and I ordered it. I fell in love, and kept with my program- I started to feel so much better from the exercise that I changed my eating habits as well. I lost the 10 lbs that I'd been trying to lose for years. Anyways I started coaching to help others succeed with the at home DVDs that I used ( and still use). Email me if you'd like to join my team for FREE. Check out www.bbfitcoach.com for details. Getting in shape is NOT easy and there is no magic pill or fad diet that will do the work for you. Any diet that promises you to lose 10 lbs in 1 week is just depleting you of water weight and actually SLOWING down your metabolism making it that much harder for you to burn calories. Now if you’re a yo-yo dieter multiply that every time you start a new diet and you’re slowing down your metabolism EACH time. No wonder you can’t lose weight?! The secret to being fit is just good old-fashioned diet and exercise. It’s a lifestyle change that only you can make. You have to have the mind set that your body and health is worth it. You will feel so much happier, and healthier once you make this change. You’ll be a better wife, mom, sister, husband, friend, etc. So now that I filled you in on the big secret…. I will share some tips that I have learned in my own fitness quest. Small, frequent meals are the most effective way to lose weight, and maintain your blood glucose levels. If you’re following a 1200 cal/day diet try to eat 300 for breakfast, 300 for lunch, 300 for dinner, and 2 snacks in between with 150 each. You will find that you are never hungry, and never full. Because we all know that Big Mac tastes good going down it doesn’t feel so hot sitting in your belly for the next 6 hours. You have to count your calories- at least in the beginning until you have a good grasp on the nutrition levels and portion amounts that your body needs. There are lots of websites that can help you log your meals online to see all the nutrition totals. I like www.myfitnesspal.com This is a FREE site that allows you to plug in your height/weight/exercise level and will tell you how many calories you need to consume to achieve our goals. It’s personalized, it’s free, and it works. Now exercise will be different for everyone and I say do something you enjoy…that way you are more likely to stick with it. A good exercise program will combine cardio and strength training. Cardio will help you burn calories and torch body fat, while strength training will build muscle, which in turn boosts your metabolism and makes you LEAN. Girls do not be afraid of weights; they are your best friends. I’m a busy nurse and I work long days so I personally enjoy working out at home to save time and $$. My favorite DVD programs are Chalean extreme, Turbo Jam, P90X, and Slim in Six. Check out www.BBfitcoach.com for details. Make sure you make yourself accountable…. Tell your friends/family about it so they can support you. Take your body measurements and set reasonable goals to achieve. For some incentive to workout check out www.BBfitcoach.com and JOIN for FREE to login your workouts in a virtual gym called WOWY. Everyday in WOWY someone will win the daily prize which is either $300, $1000, TV’s, DVD players, cameras, and ipods. It’s legit and I know people that have won…myself not included YET. I hope this helps but if you have any questions shoot me an email. I’m a nurse by trade, but fitness junkie by hobby.
Interested in Online Personal Training? I am thinking about starting an online personal training buisness and was wondering if this would appeal to anyone. The site would include custom workout plans tailored just for you, custom meal plans, animated video demo's of each workout, ability to sync to your PDA and bring with you, fitness support chat room, and much more. Would anyone be interested in a site that offered this?? Any input would be great!!!

I'm opening an Online Fitness and Rehab Program, Need Advice? I'm soon to launch an online fitness and rehab website. Memberships that join for $20 a month will receive six sets of (unique) exercises to view online. They will also have access to watch my LIVE webinar classes three times a week and chat. Since I do rehabilitation I want to offer my program as a post rehab program for physical therapist. I hope to be able to provide videos and/or LIVE interactive webinar classes for post rehab patients. I've developed a unique Yoga/Pilates fitness program on mat and a gravity gliding system. I treat and train professional athletes as well as patients with muscular disorders such as MD and MS. Question : Would you join a program like this. Do you have any suggestions on how to market this both as a rehab program and as a fitness program online ?? Thank so much !!
How to cancel LA Fitness membership in a legal letter??? I bought a Pro Results personal training contract at LA Fitness. They Gave me a 5 day guarantee that i could cancel it in. The catch is that the contract says i have to mail a letter to the Home Base of La fitness in Irvine, CA. As long as the letter is post marked before midnight of of the 5th day, is it still legally inside the 5 guarantee??? Also, I read online that La fitness often claims to never receive these letters form members and ignores them. What can I do to ensure they don't try to pull this on me? And lastly, exactly what do i have to write in the letter in terms of information. And should I threaten to get my lawyer involved etc to get them the cancel it on time??

How do you know what is the best type of fitness equipment and the best place to buy it from? I like the bowflex commercials and so forth for example. Plus the pilates gym stuff looks good and then the treadmill or cycles look good. I see them for sale everywhere! Qvc has some of the same products as advertised on the products own webpage for example. So where is the best place or store to buy equipment from? I see many at Wal-Mart, Sears, online... everywhere. I want one for strength training/toning and one for cardio. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want to invest in something that will last and give me good results.
Does anyone use target heart rate training on a treadmill? I found this free workout plan online that uses heart rate training. It's called the HRC Planner and can be found here at http://www.truefitness.com/free-workout-plan.aspx It's a custom 24 week program that uses target heart rate as a means to see improvement in your fitness level.
Would anyone be interested in being my online personal trainer? Hi. I want to get stronger and I was wondering if anyone on here would like to be my trainer. I would prefer that you have a webcam so that you can see me and I can see you. You have to be male, strict, and in good shape (because I'm not going to listen to someone give me fitness advice if they don't use it themselves). I want you to be able to boss me around and train me like a drill sergeant. Thanks for your time.

Seeking information from U.S. Federal Probation Officers who recently attended the FLETC Training Academy.? I am applying for a job as a U.S. Federal Probation Officer and am concerned about the Federal Probation and Pretrial Services Training Academy (through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center). After some online research I have been able to acquire information regarding the overall medical requirements; however, I was interested in receiving responses directly from those who have attended the Academy (with this particular job title) about the fitness requirements and expectations. I was recently in a car accident and am suffering from the after-effects of being rear-ended. As my recovery has been slower than expected, I am concerned that I may not pass a medical examination and wanted some insight from recent attendees so that I could better judge whether or not to spend the time completing the application process. I am seeking the input of those specifically employed as U.S. Federal Probation Officers (or those who have friends who are officers that attended the Academy) or those who have direct dealings with FLETC. It is not my intention to waste the time of the U.S. Federal Courts system which is the reason for the information request. The information that I am seeking is specific to Initial Probation and Pre-trial Training (28-day basic training), the physical activities necessary to successfully participate, and any other information that would be helpful in preparing myself for the Academy or dissuade me from applying at this time. I realize that this request is very specific regarding the target audience and I am grateful for any assistance that can be provided. Thank you in advance for your time in this matter. Your knowledge and expertise are sincerely appreciated.
Any economical fitness/gym near Jayanagar, Bangalore with trainers dietician etc specifically for weight gain? I went to Talwalkar's and was shown around the place. I have to admit I was impressed by the facilties but found it to be too pricey for my budget. Can I replicate the facilities - - diet charts, proper training routine etc. (I don't need steam baths etc.) without shelling out a good ten thousand bucks for four months. Like an online service that manages diet charts and suggests training routine and I can follow that on a a more economical gym with at least a decent trainer. What I won't do is go any roadside gym - already done that- and know it's of no use. SO IN SHORT A PROPER TRAINING ROUTINE AT LESS THAN (MUCH LESS THAN) 3000 PER MONTH NEAR JAYANAGAR.
How do I train for the CANADIAN ARMY? I already have obtained the online fitness guide of the requirements for basic training. I have a problem that I have been overweight my whole life and my weight has gone up and down from when I have excercised or when I haven't. I'm 16 years old now, and I have a year left to really get the ball rolling on training for the army. After I finish high school, and since I live in the province of Quebec, I have to go to the RMC in St. Jean for two years before I can join the regular force. I plan on also going to the RMC in Kingston. It says on the fitness guide that when you get your fitness evaluation test in the regular forces, you need to perform 9 push ups, 15 sit ups, 50 hand grips, 3 chin ups, and be able to run the 20 metre shuttle run. I have been working on my push ups, and find it hard to do anything other than girl push ups. My abs are the strongest part of my body, even though I hold extra fat around there. My arm muscles are very strong for a girl's, so I have no problems building muscle. The only thing I need to work on is my running, since I have never been a good runner. I get out of breathe easily, and my joints tend to hurt sometimes from pounding on the concrete. I NEED TIPS on how to start running, or some motivational advice. Anyone who has been affiliated with the canadian army who can give me any tips. At the moment I excercise about 45 minutes a day with a mix of cardio dance and muscle toning, so I am in the process of losing weight. I weigh 180 and my height is 5'3. I am so passionate about joining the army, and now the only thing stopping me is my fitness level in running. Remember, I have a year left to really work out so any tips would be very helpful! Thank you. (I am also a girl).

Personal training courses in Australia? I live in Perth and am thinking about getting a cert in personal training. I thought at first of doing the 8-week course at the Australian Institute of Fitness but after a lil research, I found a lot of people have rubbished it, saying it is too expensive, is looked down upon in the fitness industry and does not prepare you properly for a career as a PT. TAFE seems the best choice but I'll have to wait until June for the next intake. Can anyone suggest something for me? I found the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers online but there doesn't seem to be much info on the kind of courses they offer or whether they're a decent institute or just trying to make a quick buck off personal trainer wannabes. Can anyone let me know about this or suggest any courses I can take? Thanks heaps in advance
Recruitment and initial training in the british army? Im going to sign up in a few months once im fitter and have sorted a few things out. Im an 18 year old young lady, and planning on becoming a light gunner or AS90. Would i be able to join the royal marines through the army just as men can? I dont think the online careers advisor understood me. How longs the whole recruitment process? Ive been on the website but i wanted to know how long it took you. also how hards initial training, that's what im bricking myself about. I can cope being away from family and friends so that wont be a problem, i just don't think that ill be able to hack it fitness wise. I can run a mile in 6.32mins and i can run/fast jog for 25 mins without a fuss, is this good enough? You can volunteer, directly on entry, to serve with the Commandos or Paras in this role, subject to passing the relevant selection courses - http://www.armyjobs.mod.uk/jobs/Pages/JobDetail.aspx?armyjobid=RA030%2F039&category=1
High Intensity Interval Training...What's my top speed??!!? I am 23 and petite (just about 5 feet tall). I can run comfortably at 5.5 or 6mph (depending on the treadmill) for around 30 minutes. I'm looking into doing some interval training to spice up my workout; perhaps shed a few more pounds and am wondering what the speed of my sprint should be. I've looked online for specific workouts and they're usually either geared toward beginners who can barely run or marathoners which certainly I am not. I wouldn't be totally opposed to incline workouts but I really prefer to run. So what would be the appropriate top speed for someone at my fitness level?
Does my commute to work count as exercise? Just curious. I can't find out anything online about it. My commute is about 2 hours long to NYC from Staten Island, Train, then a ferry ride, then another train and about 20 minutes total walking. I read in Fitness magazine that a 1 hours commute = 640 calories burned? What do you think?

Similar LLC names in Maryland? I live in Maryland and sent in my Articles of Organization for Ideal Images, LLC. This exact name is available, however as I was looking around online, I found a car detail shop with the name Ideal Image, LLC. My business deals in personal fitness training so the fields are nowhere close to one another. Will this still be accepted? It takes up to 8 weeks to get a response from the State, so I was hoping to get an idea sooner. Secondly, could I pick another name for my company and get a Doing Business As Ideal Images? For example- Healthy Bodies, LLC DBA Ideal Images.
weight and fitness during winter? hi, i am a guy and 14 years old. i am 5' 4" and weigh 117 lbs. i have some extra fat in my thighs, stomach, and breasts. i want to work this off and get more fit because i don't like my body compared to some of my friends. i am pretty active--i exercise on a stationary bike every day in the winter for 30-60 minutes and bike or run every day in the summer, then every night i do strength training for 20 minutes including push ups, sit ups, weight lifting, and leg raises. i have noticed a little difference since i started this a couple weeks ago, but not much. i checked online and it said i burn 2300 calories every day from metabolism. i would like some advice on what to do...should i wait and see, make changes, etc.? thanks!

Personal training question (frustration)? Anyone can answer but I really would like to hear from personal trainers or anyone who has experienced this type of situation before. I was talking to a woman who said that she can achieve all her weight loss and fitness goals all on her own because she read some books telling her how to do it. She basically told me that all my schooling and degrees are worthless because she can get the same advice I could give her online and concluded that all trainers are overpaid and unnecessary because all you have to do is to diet and exercise and you can look and feel great. This would not be the first person I have heard this crap from, but why do we even bother to get certified through schooling? Why go to college and get these degrees if we are just going to be disrespected and discarded for a fricken book? Geez and guess what? the books are written by certified trainers in most cases. I am very disgruntled right now. Trainers how do you deal with this? f;shgdlhdhlfalkjgdlssfsgd; Vortex:: thanks :) you would be surprised how many people come to me and think they got a handle on it all and their form is off and they are injuring themselves, they believe in myths. I appreciate your perspective, it is encouraging and yes I do have a good client base that does respect me and is very committed to the plans and programs I design specifically for them.

Mass Effect - Which build is better? Ok, I've been thinking about playing Mass Effect tomorrow because I am excited for ME2. I've searched online to see how best I can play to suit my playstyle. How to prep for the Chicago Marathon? Hey guys, I'm hoping someone with either 1. experience running marathons or 2. medical expertise can help me out here. I can't stress enough, unless you've ran a marathon or are a fitness expert/doctor, please hold on the input here! :) I'm fairly in shape. I used to run 2-5 miles a day (sometimes 2.7 in the morning and 2.7 at night) 3-4 times a week, on sidewalks/streets - similar terrain, I'm sure, to that of the Chicago Marathon (I'm from Aurora, 45 minutes west of the city, and know the downtown area fairly well). The problem is this - I was hit by a car in November, and it rendered my leg pretty much useless up until now. I still can't walk without a limp, and I surely can't run, but I'm estimating another 2-3 weeks will complete my recovery. After that, I'd like to begin training to run the marathon which takes place in November, and I'd like some information on how to get back into training; what kind of starting distance I should use, etc., (Even if I can run 2-5 miles right off the bat again, should I start back at the beginning and work back up past my previous comfort point?). How much running is too much when accommodating the long run? I don't want to stress my body out to the point that 26 miles isn't possible, but I want the fastest results possible. One last thing, where would I find the best training guide online? I've seen a few different tables mapping a suggested training regimen, but I don't have enough experience to decide which is best - possibly something that includes dietary suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!

How can a novice train for half-Ironman? I am working to return to my pre-baby level of fitness, and since I am not getting any younger, I want to train for the half Ironman competition in my town that is one year away. Does anyone know if a year is sufficient time to build up the strength and endurance for a half Ironman? I also would like to know what are some good online, book or magazine resources to help a beginner start training quickly, without having a lot of knowledge of the terminology and methods in triathalon training. This is a goal on my list of things I would love to do in my lifetime, so any direction or advice would be appreciated.
Good idea for weight loss service? I've been a personal trainer for a long time. I started an online weight loss service, with a few other personal trainers as weight loss coaches. I want to know what you guys think of this. I've put together a service which offers customized diets and workout plans that change every couple of weeks based on the results of our clients. Diets include healthy substitutions for your favorite foods, nutritional value of the foods included, recipes, food that actually tastes good and everything laid out for a three week time period. A cheat day is allowed once a week. The workouts are geared toward the client's current fitness level, they include aerobics and strength training, and is progressive to keep the results coming. The other trainers and I will answer any questions every day within a few hours of recieving them. We're basically weight loss coaches that tell you exactly what to do to get in shape for only 25 bucks a month. It's fully customized to fit each client, and we also have chat available every day where you can discuss workout plans with trainers or other clients in real time. To get our name out there, we're also running a $10,000 weight loss contest. We've had some successful clients but not enough people know about us. Any Disney Employees can help with this question? Hi Im moving to Florida to participate in the WDW college program. Im also a bodybuilder, and while they have a fitness center at the housing they provide, im woried its not adequate. I found the following post online saying that disney employees have acess to resort gyms. Is this true? ------------------------------------------------------------------- To be honest, I have no idea how many Gym options you'll have. YOu'll have access to the CP Gyms. And you'll have access to the gym's at Disney's 24+ hotels. And you may even get a chance to work out at Disney's Sports center (Which you'll share with the Atlanta Braves Baseball team during their pre-season training at Disney (just to give you an idea of what level gym's you'll have access to at Disney. And the second is work out at the gym at Vista Way. It's not the biggest gym at disney, but it's only a 3 minute walk away (at most) and it has what you'll need. Plus, it's private, and you'll always have somebody to go with.
How to get the most out of a 24-hr personal trainer? ok so my dad told me he has diabetes (at 45) and that kinda scared me, everyone on his side has it. i want to take care of things early on (im 21)so im at a lesser risk later on in life. i used to walk every day , a couple hours a day, after i stopped i gained about 30 pounds....I WANT THEM OFF ! anyways, i hired a personal trainer at 24-hr fitness and i've been reading online and alot of people keep writting that trainers are a waste of time. so i wanted to see, since i already bough the training sessions, if anyone had any advice on how to get the most out of my next 12 sessions (once a week for 3 months).
I need some great ideas girls!!? I posted this same question under health - fitness and just got the same ol' sit up - push up responses.... I wanted something creative and thought the girls in beauty & style could help me out! ;-) I'm skinny but want to be tone! I want some great ideas on toning abs, butt, and arms. I have a bowflex at home that I need to start using more often! haha.. but it's not always fun and I don't get that great burn all of the time - it's more for strength training. I've seen commercials <i guess info-mercials!> on that Hip Hop Abs thing and that looks fun but I don't want to pay $! Anyone have a copy?! LOL or somethin online that works just as well. Just looking for some FREE & FUN ideas to incorporate with my bowflex workouts. Thanks so much! Well I have the blockbuster online thing so I put some dance work-out videos on top so I'll get them soon. Hopefully it'll help keep me intersted - I always seem to lose interest! Thanks a bunch
Is jogging good or bad for you? I never thought I'd be asking this, but recently I've been reading some articles online that say jogging is bad for one's fitness, particularly if one is looking for fitness centered around strength. Some of the arguments for this are that it slows metabolism, that it is unnatural (not an activity our bodies were intended to preform), that it burns calories but not necessarily calories from fat, that it works slow twitch muscles and working slow twitch muscles hinders fast twitch muscles, and that it is a lazy form of exercise. I've been jogging for a good number of years now (alongside many other forms of exercise), and I'm surprised to be reading this. But since fitness is only a hobby of mine, and not something I have extensive or professional knowledge in, I'm having trouble evaluating these claims. What are your thoughts on this? Do you know of any of the research that supports these claims (the sites rarely list them) so that I can read it firsthand? Please answer if you have any formal training or extensive knowledge in this area, and please list your credentials, since one of my problems with what I'm reading is whether the source is credible. Thanks so much.
I met a great girl, but I don't find her very attractive. Should I give it more time? ? I just got out of a five year relationship that was very abusive. I got myself some therapy, got my body in shape, and finally decided to start dating again. I decided to try the online thing, as well as outside. I'm not very good with the rules of dating, so I'm trying to take my time, and have many choices. I met one girl from the dating site in person. She is funny, intelligent, witty, and driven to do better for herself. The only problem was is that I did not find her very sexually attractive. I feel shallow for even thinking that considering that, though I am considered somewhat cute, I am short and I most certainly am not considered gorgeous by any means. At the same time, I don't feel that my standards are that outrageous considering my last girlfriend was 280 pounds - and very attractive to me. I have dated three people since the breakup, and I had the most fun with her - but I just did not feel any sparks. I don't want to lead her on, yet I do not want to make a rash decision - we've only been on one date so far. My last relationship was so painful because she told me that she was attracted to my mind, but she found me sexually repulsive. I don't want to pass that kind of hurt around. In addition, she actually could be very attractive if she did a bit of personal training. However, I know that most people are not as dedicated to fitness as I am, so that will most likely never happen. I don't want to lose out on something good, plus I'm not sure that I'm even a good catch considering my financial situation at my age (33). I think that she really likes me. I want to keep dating different people until I know what I want so that I don't end up in therapy again. I'm a bit of a mess, I'm that you can tell. Should I date her again to see if I change my mind? She did become more attractive to me as the night went on, and I do enjoy the conversation with her. Also, how many people is it acceptable to date at a time? I've never been a big dater, and I have been told that I never did enough "shopping around" and tend to settle for people. I'm a idiot...

I was never given 1 a year ago and just found out they have been taking money out for a year now and I never set one foot in that place. Abs by July? First, some basic info 15, female, 5'9" I weigh 132 lbs, waist measurement of about 28 and a supposed body fat percentage of 16% (According to some online calculators) I've eat very healthy and workout everyday. My goal is to have a flat stomach/abs by July, which would give me a little more than a month. My general question is- is this a realistic goal? Also, Ive read contradicting info everywhere.. some say that 20 minutes of HIIT is ideal for fat burning, some say that prolonged, steady running is better. I'm a runner, so I find 20 minutes of HIIT rather easy. But the books say that by running/doing cardio for more than twenty minutes will just counteract the strength training I do and break down lean muscle mass. Would the muscle still be depleting if I ran for twenty minutes in the morning, and twenty minutes at night, per say? Or would this have the same muscle-eating effect? For my goal- abs- what is a good plan? Some kind of exercise/fitness guideline would be wonderful. Up until now Ive been running anywhere from 30-60 minutes a day, either in intervals or steadily..
Does my son have any serious issue under all of this problem? I’m concerned about my son. He’s 17 years old, he’ll be graduating high school this year. He have been taking a college course at community college ever since he was a junior. He also is highly ranked in ROTC and leader for raider team and is one of very few to be on physical fitness for three years. He also is an accomplished varsity wrestler. And have been doing mixed martial art ever since wrestling season was over during his freshman year. He even had done a couple boxing, kickboxing, and grappling matches and always did very well in them. I’m very proud of everything he did. But what bothers me is, lately I’ve been learning lot of things that really bothers me. Outside of ROTC and mixed martial arts, he has very few friends. Almost all of them are female friends from college who are rather odd. They all dresses really odd, many have unnatural hair color, and other things. Most of them appear to be in early 20’s. My son hangs out with them way more than anyone else. I tried to not let it get to me at first. However I start to find blood stain on his shirt, I start to find scars on his body that he’d try to hide if asked about it, and other things. We also notice he never panic when he saw his own blood, in fact he seems to like the sight of it. A couple days ago, we installed a software on computer that would allows us to see what our kids are doing on the computer (we’re more worried about our three younger children). To my shock, I found a couple pictures of some of those girls he hang out with drinking blood and playing with blood. We also found from his online journal that he basically do wrestling and mixed martial arts simply because he get thrills out of it and hurting other people and getting hurt. He also states some things he have done that we didn’t know of. He talks about sneak into abandoned building, climbing then reppell down a very tall building in our city at night, falling off cliff and crashed through branches when he went on some rock climbing, biking sixty miles to beach and almost died when he got caught in rough wave, pulls some pranks off, getting in fight, and other things. We also learned that my son have been lying about where he was majority of the time. Often he’d say he’s at library, training late, and other things so he can do all those dangerous things. We also learned on weekend, he’d regularly go out to meet foreigner tourist and hang out with them and play guide for them. We haven’t told him anything about this since we don’t want him to find out we were spying on him and other kids. Not long ago, he came and told us he plans on joining the army and wants to go to recruiting office. We thought it’d be ok since he’d probably get accepted in a good university. But now he wants to go in as 11X (infantry/special force) with airborne school as option instead of attending a university that he got accepted into! I am having very hard time to deal with all of this. I don’t even know if I should approach him about any of those things. I used to think he was a really good kid. But now I feel like there may just be another whole world that we didn’t know of.

It was ok but I felt insecure and embarrassed because I work across from Bally Total fitness GYM (the Gym I work out at) There are alot of muscular cuties with hot bods that train at Ballys :) I'm afraid some of them might come into Subway while I'm working and see me! They might think I'm immature or something like that!!! My dad hates that im working at subway and wants me to work at the Veterinarian office downtown because it relates to my major but, its kind of far :( what should I do??

fat chick looking for some help? Okay so Here are my specs I am 19years old, 5ft 6inch Female and I roughly weigh about 180lbs. (i don't own a scale but when i had a physical last I was 180 and my eating habits have not changed since then. it was about 2 months ago.) I would like to try and get into shape by going into a diet. The type of diet program I'm looking for isn't like weight watchers or anything. Before, I began a food journal and wrote in it everyday of what I ate and any activities I did that would be considered exercise. I mostly ate salads and had a low carb diet. I was wondering though, what type of diet should I restart with ? I don't want to take out carbs all together because its unhealthy and I don't eat red meat if at all. Secondly, I would like to lose weight by exercising. I have never been to a gym before and the fitness equipment seem really foreign to me. So I was hoping if there is a good fitness video that seems effective so I can do it at home? Also, what are some healthy exercising at home activities can I do? I would not like to spot train any areas cause I just need the help all over. I'm willing to buy work out equipment except a treadmill, there is no room in my house for it haha.... Can diet pills also be healthy to induce faster weight loss? Which types work the best? last of all, what would be the healthy weight I should reach my goal to? I heard that 140 is healthy for my age and height. Are there any online sites for free that you can use to track your exercise and weight?
Disputing item on Credit report: best course of action? If you have knowledge in this, I need you to share with me. I had a gym membership at Riveria Fitness years ago. They did not credit my payments to them correctly. All my attempts to fix it, were in vain as their employees were either ill-trained or no one cared to research it. So, all of a sudden alleged debt has come alive again. I received a letter from a collection agency. I sent a letter back via certified mail asking for the same thing I had asked Riveria....simply a detailed billing statment. The collection agency called me yesterday, denied ever recieving the certified letter (which I show was delievered to them). I told them I would only communicate in writing. I wouldn't discuss the sitatuion with them, so I saw my credit report this morning...and...well first of all they put it out my credit report last week...second of all...they did something today that made my score drop by 25 points. I've sent another certified, return receipt letterr today. I've disputed it online. I've disputed it online through Equifax. I need to know how to proceed as I feel I'm being dealth with unethically according to the Fair Debt Practices Act. Can you give me some guidance on this? I want to get this off my credit report and I want my detailed billing statement. When all is said and done, I'm happy to pay the negligible balance from my Riveria account.....however...I just need some real wisdom on how to handle this whole thing. They should have never put this on my credit report without first responding to my letter. And then after that phone conversation which wasn't too friendly, they did retalitory to drop my socre by 25 points!!! Help... Oh, and I did send the first letter well within the 30 days allowed by law. I do like the idea of suing them, but that isn't the most economical course of action. It would be cheaper just to pay the alleged debt! So....that action won't really work with my wallet. Wow, that was amazing information! I think I'll save that for the future. I never knew any of that! Unfortunately, my account is 2 or 3 years old....so it's not past the limit for Florida. Can you still help me with some other direction?
Army Special Forces recruit? Ok, I am enlisting in the Army as a SF recruit (18x)...i have read a few places online that 18x is a joke...i know you have to TRY OUT, you aren't guaranteed a SF job....but i heard that almost ZERO 18x recruits can acutally pass the SFAS...ok, i'm currently a sophomore in college and i'm taking a "military physical fitness" class, right now we run between 2-5 miles a day, mon-fri...i can do about 40 pushups in 2 minutes (i know its sad), 60+ situps, and run the 2 miles in about 14:00...is there any hope for me to pass the SFAS...if i don't pass SFAS, i hear i will be a 11b, will i get more chances to train (SOPC) and re-take the SFAS, I am very dedicated to the Special Forces and it is my dream to get it....thanks for the help in advance wow, i know i am not physically capable of SF right now...i'm still in college...i'm sure BCT will raise my strength...i am doing another 2 months of my military physical fitness class, then i'll have 4 months of BCT/OSUT, then airborne, then SOPC...i'm sure i wont only be able to do 40 pushups, you guys act like you don't improve during BCT?
