How much better is jogging than riding a bike for general fitness?

Like many people, I want to get fitter. Jogging is obviously an option, but I find it very tedious and boring. So I choose to ride my bike instead of run. Is this better, or worse for me? What can I do?

  1. do you actually find running tedious? or is it that it's actual work? yea you don't want to work. riding a bike actually might be easier than walking (o wait it is) run
  2. Better for your body to bike--running tears up your knees and ankles.
  3. Bike riding is also great for you. It's fun, so you'll be able to do it for longer periods of time without getting bored. When I bike ride, I always ride up hills for more of a challenge, plus it's fun to ride down them. Because it's fun, it'll make you want to ride more and more. Overall I'd say this is a better form of exercise, because you'll have the motivation to do it!
