- Sit differently or wear jeans shorts-they're thicker for more protection, or try wearing a pad. Some of those seats are tiny in front.
- Well, they do make special bike shorts for women, and men, too, that have a gel pad in the crotch area that makes riding a bike, or an exercise bike, MUCH more comfortable (see link, below). Also, for what it's worth, my girlfriend used to sometimes wear a maxi-pad when we went out for a bike ride, and she said that that helped a lot. Also, look under the seat on the exercise bike to see if it's adjustable in any way, and if it is, believe it or not, try adjusting it so that the nose of the saddle points up, because that will actually force you to sit back further and that relieves the pressure! Good luck!...
- Yeah those seats hurt my ass. But you're not obligated to ride it if it hurts. Find a different leg exercise that is just as effective. And if you're at a fitness center working on the bike, that shouldn't be a problem.
